Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Facilities Management and Data Center Specialist focused on Healthcare FM and mission critical environments The Energy Manager plays a key role in advancing energy performance and sustainability initiatives across a complex healthcare environment. This position focuses on reducing energy consumption, improving system efficiency, and supporting long-term carbon reduction goals across critical facilities.

Key Accountabilities

Create and implement tailored energy strategies aligned with site operations and organizational goals

Manage third-party partners, including energy consultants and service providers

Support compliance efforts related to energy, sustainability, and emissions regulations

Lead energy assessments, retro-commissioning efforts, and optimization of building systems

Identify, develop, and deliver energy efficiency and conservation projects from concept through execution

Establish measurement and verification approaches to track savings and performance outcomes

Collect, analyze, and report utility and energy data to monitor progress against targets

Partner with facilities, engineering, and operations teams to embed energy initiatives into daily operations and capital planning

Assist with forecasting and managing energy and utility expenditures

Design and manage metering and sub-metering strategies

Identify and secure utility rebates, incentives, and funding opportunities

Prepare technical and financial analyses to support investment decisions

Collaborate on building automation and controls enhancements to standardize system performance

Stay current on emerging energy technologies, best practices, and industry trends

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in energy management, facilities engineering, or a related discipline

Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, lighting systems, and building automation platforms

Professional energy credential required (CEM or CEA)

Measurement & Verification certification (CMVP) preferred

Experience with energy tracking, benchmarking, and reporting tools (e.g., Portfolio Manager or similar platforms)

Ability to translate technical data into clear insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Environmental Studies, Project Management, or a related field
