We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to support our planning and resource management activities.
Responsibilities
Maintain a strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast‑paced development environment that consists of leading‑edge technology suppliers and non‑traditional supply base.
Monitor all interim storage location reports and coordinate Exception Reports to correct system errors and ensure accuracy.
Daily reporting of Transaction Reports, Bin Table Reporting/Maintenance, Curtailment Reporting, and cleanup for all storage locations in the applicable plant locations.
Main POC for the SMO process.
POC for handling day‑to‑day requests from diverse teams outside of the building or the normal process.
Required to have a deep understanding of many functions in SAP.
Will prepare, submit, and track Surplus Move Orders by network, research, troubleshoot, and correct any in‑depth issues.
Explain and train on findings/corrections.
Interface with the supply base to track orders and resolve issues.
Coordinate cross‑functionally to submit SLED extension request forms.
Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments.
Coordinating cross‑functionally with many other teams to complete the statement of work, including Program Management, MRP Planning, Advanced Planning, Quality, Engineering, etc.
Basic Qualifications (Level 1)
Bachelor's degree and experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
4 years of supply chain and/or material planning experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment may be considered in lieu of degree
Experience collecting and organizing inventory data
Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
Ability to obtain PAR
Basic Qualifications (Level 2)
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of supply chain and/or material planning experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment OR a master's degree
6 years of supply chain and/or materials planning experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience collecting and organizing inventory data
Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
Ability to obtain PAR
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to be agile and work in a fast‑paced engineering environment
Experience with SAP/SAR Program
Previous defense experience
Primary Level Salary Range:
$54,400.00 – $81,600.00
Secondary Level Salary Range:
$65,500.00 – $98,300.00
Salary range is a general guideline; considerations include scope and responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, a discretionary bonus, and potentially long‑term incentives. Northrop Grumman provides benefits including health insurance, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off.
