Traveling Veterinarian – Mid‑Atlantic Region
Traveling Veterinarian supporting Heart + Paw locations across Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. The role requires flexible on‑site availability and a passion for client‑centric animal care.

Responsibilities
Perform wellness, sick visits, dental procedures, and surgeries at assigned Northeast locations on a rotating schedule.
Practice low‑stress handling philosophies and maintain client‑centered care.
Serve as a role model for the Heart + Paw brand and promote center services.
Maintain equipment, comply with local, state, and federal regulations, and uphold Heart + Paw quality standards.
Collaborate with Partner Doctors and support marketing efforts to grow the client base.
Qualifications
Doctorate/DVM with 4+ years of clinical experience.
Professional licensure in good standing and applicable state veterinary board.
DEA and CDS as applicable.
Comfortable being the sole veterinarian during shifts.
Preference for candidates with surgical and/or dental capabilities.
Ability to travel to Northeast locations on designated workdays.
Strong interpersonal, client communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
Consumer‑centric mindset and desire to build and retain a client base.
USDA accreditation requirement for supported states within 6 months.
Interest in technology and low‑stress handling methodologies (Fear Free, CALM, HABRI) preferred.
Employment Details Full‑time, indefinite duration. Salary range $180,000–$220,000 plus production pay. The role is located on‑site in the Mid‑Atlantic region.
