As our North American business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced customs broker / operations specialist to join our U.S. team in Aventura, Florida.
This role is critical to our daily operations and customer experience. You will ensure full customs compliance while serving as a trusted point of contact for clients, U.S. Customs, and internal teams—helping shipments move smoothly, compliantly, and on time.
Your Role Working remotely and from our office in Aventura, Florida, you will support daily brokerage operations, manage import/export documentation, and act as a key liaison for clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Prepare, file, and manage import/export documentation in compliance with
CBP, DOT, and ITAR/EAR regulations
Ensure accurate customs entries, duty/tax calculations, and payment processing on behalf of clients
Maintain and update importer/customer profiles and compliance records
Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, shipment status updates, and issue resolution
Investigate and resolve entry discrepancies or customer complaints efficiently
Adhere to all CBP compliance procedures and productivity standards
Support daily brokerage operations and assist team members as needed
Contribute to the development and maintenance of client SOPs
Qualifications
Active and valid
U.S. Customs Broker’s License
5+ years of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, ocean freight, or international transportation
Strong working knowledge of CBP regulations and other U.S. government agencies
Experience with Customs ABI systems
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑volume brokerage environments
Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills
