LocumsAbout the FacilityA busy hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.About the Facility LocationPlan your assignment to Nashville, Tennessee now! The music never stops and there are countless things to do in the southern city. Between the live music throughout downtown and the many museums, there is something for everyone. Once you've listened to the greatest country hits around, find the food scene in the city for nonstop delicious food and drinks.About the Clinician's WorkdayThe site staffs eight anesthesiologists and thirty CRNAs per day, supporting 34 operating rooms and an annual volume of roughly 29,000 OR cases and 6,100 deliveries. Credentialing takes about 45 days, with an ASAP start once approved, and the contract runs for six months with the option to extend. The schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no weekends and no call, working under a medicaldirection model. The case mix includes approximately 30% orthopedics, 16% general surgery, 14% urology, 9% neuro/spine, 8% GYN, 5% cardiology, and 5% endoscopy/gastric. Physicians perform epidurals for OB but do not do spinals or blocks, and regional anesthesia skills are helpful. The facility uses Cerner for charting.Additional Job DetailsCase Load/PPD:
