Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) – Southeastern North Carolina Sign‑On Bonus:
$15,000 |
Relocation Assistance Available Schedule:
Full‑time • 10‑/12‑hour shifts • Paid on‑call rotation Setting:

Dunn metro, Southeastern North Carolina (easy access to Raleigh, Fayetteville, and the Carolina coast)
Position Summary A leading regional healthcare system is hiring an
Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)
to perform complex, minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a high‑volume IR suite. You’ll work side‑by‑side with experienced interventional radiologists and a multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, quality, and patient‑centered care.
Key Responsibilities Perform and assist with a full range of interventional procedures—vascular, neuro‑endovascular, cardiac, oncologic, and trauma. Operate and troubleshoot fluoroscopic and digital imaging equipment; adhere to radiation‑safety and contrast‑media protocols. Function as scrub, circulator, or primary technologist, ensuring seamless workflow and accurate documentation in EMR/PACS. Review orders, labs, and prior imaging; complete safety checklists; educate patients and families. Maintain QA standards, participate in performance‑improvement projects, and mentor student technologists.
Minimum Qualifications Certification:
ARRT (R) required
and
CI or VI certification (or eligibility—must obtain within 24 months). Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Experience:
Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, or Special Procedures experience preferred; strong new grads welcome. Skills:
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Licenses/Certs:
Current AHA‑BLS.
Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate:
$24 – $40 per hour (experience‑based). $15,000 sign‑on bonus
