Job Description: The Data Analyst will focus on reporting, analytics, and audits to ensure accounts and projects function as intended. This role requires database querying, troubleshooting, and responding to auditor requests, with a strong emphasis on credit card data analysis. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Generate and analyze reports (manual and automated) to validate account functionality.
- Conduct audits to ensure data and project outcomes align with expectations.
- Monitor data trends throughout the day and flag inconsistencies.
- Query databases to confirm data accuracy and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Manage requests from external and banking auditors, providing only the necessary data.
- Knowledge of financial systems and credit card processes.
- Experience performing data analysis in the credit card industry.
- 1+ years of experience running reports and queries using Oracle & SQL.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial datasets.
- Experience in reporting, analytics, and audits.
- Familiarity with risk management processes.
- Experience mapping credit card data into a database.
- Understanding of data file structures and retrieval.
- Proficiency with Excel, including Macros
