Job Overview
LPN – Long Term Care at Providence Child Center in Portland, Oregon. This posting represents a full‑time night shift position. Hours are 7pm-7:30am (3, 12‑hour shifts), with rotating weekends and holidays. Our Long‑Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients.
About Our Care We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents require long‑term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living. Our team is deeply committed to providing compassionate, resident‑centered care in a nurturing environment. We’re proud of our culture of teamwork, continuity of care, and interdisciplinary collaboration with respiratory therapy, rehab, and social work.

Required Qualifications
Graduate of an approved school for practical nurses
Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse upon hire
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
1 year of LPN experience
Preferred Qualifications
Coursework/Training – IV Therapy course and competency demonstration
