The Goddard School – Preschool Assistant Teacher (9:00 AM-6:00 PM)
We are hiring a Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team in Pflugerville, TX. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, and works from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Base Pay $14.00/hr – $16.00/hr (based on experience and qualifications)

General Qualifications
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling children, child safety, and potential emergency situations; for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to lift infants into and out of a crib.
High school diploma required.
A valid CPR/First‑aid certification required.
Works productively without supervision.
Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
Is dependable, adaptable, and enjoys working together toward a common goal.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding ability to listen and follow up on issues constructively.
Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi‑tasking to ensure smooth school operations.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Be reliable and dependable.
Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
Assist the Lead Teacher with curriculum implementation and classroom management.
Use the iPad to document children’s care & growth information in an app.
Support each child’s social and emotional development.
Establish positive and effective family relations.
