Compensation:

$18.00‑$23.00 an hour, based on experience

Job Summary The Liner Technician for Mustang Extreme Environmental Services (MEES) is responsible for installing geosynthetic liner for our oil and gas related projects in the Permian Basin.

Responsibilities And Essential Functions

Work with Project Managers and Field Supervisors to ensure daily completion activity is accomplished

Install, weld, repair, and test geosynthetic liners

Ensure all projects meet quality standards per customer’s specifications and/or CQA plan as well as MEES SOP.

Follow all safety processes and procedures.

Preferred Requirements, Knowledge, And Core Competencies

Experience with geosynthetic liner installation practices, or willingness to learn.

Experience and familiarity with plastic fusion welding of HDPE/LLDPE liner, sewing and heat bonding of geotextiles including maintenance of plastic fusion welders and sewing devices.

Ability to operate a skid steer or telehandler per MEES SOP.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.

Ability to work in all weather.

Must be punctual and reliable.

Must have valid driver’s license and good driver history to be an approved driver for the company.

Working Environment Typical outdoor/field working environment. Ability to perform all essential job functions with reasonable accommodations compliant with EEOC enforced ADA guidelines. This position is primarily outdoors, consistent with a standard field-based position. Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to perform medium to heavy work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/up to 75 pounds of force constantly to move objects, tools, and materials. Must possess the visual acuity to operate equipment and motor vehicles, perform trades tasks, inspect the work of others, and review work for accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness. Role has a noise level range of low to high (requiring ear protection). Includes travel to clients’ project sites and local and out of state offices of the company and its customers as necessary and requires valid driver’s license.
