Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products accurately and efficiently. This role ensures inventory is handled safely and orders are processed on time to meet customer and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified)
- Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Use warehouse management systems or scanners to track inventory and shipments
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages (typically up to 50 lbs)
- Basic computer or scanner experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable and punctual
