The Technical Product Owner (TPO) role is to support digital Marketing and the Global Storefronts. This role plays a pivotal role in leading the end-to-end technical delivery of a large-scale website migration initiative. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring a seamless transition of web content, infrastructure, and functionality from legacy platforms to modern, scalable solutions. The TPO collaborates with cross-functional teams including HCD, content strategy, infrastructure, quality engineering and development to deliver a high-quality digital experience aligned with business goals. This is a highly visible role with Global reach. Work arrangement: Hybrid (3 days from office, 2 days from Home); Remote working option is not available; Office location: Boston - USA (primary) Position Responsibilities:
- Facilitate discovery & delivery activities of the storefronts experience by interfacing with both business and technical teams, owning the functional decision making.
- Own and manage the technical backlog for the website migration project, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.
- Lead agile teams through planning, execution, and delivery phases of the migration, ensuring value is delivered incrementally.
- Define and communicate the migration strategy, including platform selection, data/content migration, SEO preservation, and performance optimization.
- Partner with Marketing Technology Business Partner, Technology Program Manager, and digital teams to create and maintain a migration roadmap and vision.
- Collaborate with architecture, data, security, and risk teams on the design and acceptance of a robust solution.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners involved in hosting, platforms, and development.
- Ensure technical requirements are captured, documented, and translated into actionable user stories and epics alongside a Business Systems Analyst.
- Collaborate with POs to monitor KPIs such as site performance, SEO rankings, user engagement, and accessibility compliance post-migration.
- Collaborate with HCD designers to ensure the migrated site delivers an exceptional user experience.
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies and ensure blockers are addressed to maintain momentum.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for migration-related challenges (e.g., broken links, redirects, downtime).
- Ensure quality assurance and testing processes are in place for migrated content, functionality, and integrations including accessibility and privacy compliance.
- Stay informed on emerging web technologies and trends to inform platform decisions and future enhancements.

- Strong understanding of web technologies, CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce), and hosting environments.
- Experience managing large-scale website migrations or re-platforming initiatives.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, analytics tools, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage complex dependencies and timelines.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive execution without direct authority.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and compliance requirements.
- Front-End Development Knowledge: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Back-End Development Familiarity: RESTful APIs, Node.js, Java, or .NET for integration and troubleshooting.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Understanding of pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and automated deployment strategies.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP for hosting and scalability considerations.
- Performance Optimization: Techniques for load balancing, caching, and CDN integration.
- Security Engineering Basics: Knowledge of OWASP principles, SSL/TLS, and secure coding practices.
- Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress) and performance testing (JMeter).
- Data Handling: Understanding of JSON, XML, and database basics (SQL/NoSQL).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Technical Lead, or Program Manager in digital/web projects.
- Agile certification (e.g., CSPO) preferred.
- Experience with WCAG compliance
- Experience with website analytics, SEO tools, and CMS platforms.
