Description:
  • The Warehouse Manager is responsible for all warehouse functions and the management of delivery techs.
  • The Warehouse Manager is responsible for moving medical equipment within the warehouse and the loading/unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker, or other heavy material handling equipment
  • The Warehouse Manager can be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting, screening, and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the warehouse
  • In conjunction with Safety, he/she is to ensure compliance is maintained according to current company operating standards
  • Use equipment to move, store, pick, pack, and store materials within the warehouse
  • Understand and adhere to local, State, and Federal regulations, but not limited to, OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other government agencies.
  • This position requires frequent variations, including sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, or stooping

  • During off-site travel, the employee may be required to ride in company delivery vehicles to deliver medical equipment to facilities or patient homes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Prior experience in warehouse operations or management, DME or medical equipment is preferred
  • Will be required to use hand tools for assembly and repair, material handling equipment, cutting, carrying devices, cleanup kits, or equipment
