Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for assembling furniture, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting customers with their orders. Additional duties include inventory control, product assembly and cleanup, completing paperwork, entering customer data and other tasks as assigned by the warehouse manager.
- Process, package and ship orders accurately and damage free
- Unload, receive, put away stock, and maintain accurate inventory
- Inspect products for defects and damages
- Perform basic repairs of damaged frames, including spray painting and using sanding tool, as needed
- Follow all company safety protocols
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized and maintain 5S workstations
- Operate glide assembly equipment, air compressor and equipment related to furniture assembly as required
- Utilize basic hand and power tools to assemble or repair furniture
- Follow all company policies and standard operating procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred
- Knowledge of inventory processes
- Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Possess a forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training and operate machinery safety according to company protocol
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Odoo, Microsoft Suite and data entry systems
- Team player with organizational skills
- Physical stamina to work long hours while standing
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Continually lift up to 75 lbs. (more using Team Lift)
- Frequent lifting, bending, standing and walking throughout the shift
- Frequently exposed to extreme heat or cold (non-weather)
- Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions
- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
- Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals
- Working in a space with moderate to louse noise from equipment, machinery or team activity
- Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Order Picker, Forklift stand up and Sit down
- Use of personal protective equipment and strict adherence to safety protocols
