Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator
Pay: ~$20/hr (depending on experience)
Job Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing parts/materials to support the production schedule while maintaining inventory accuracy, reporting, and cost control. This role focuses heavily on warehouse organization, inventory management, and supporting production operations.
Core Responsibilities (Essential Duties)
•Receive and store materials used for production.
•Unload and verify shipments (check quantity/accuracy), then distribute to correct locations.
•Enter shipment/receiving data into systems (ERP, Excel, and/or other ordering systems).
•Process receiving paperwork/documents properly and timely.
•Report and resolve discrepancies immediately (missing/damaged/incorrect items).
•Pre-assemble materials/sub-components as needed.
•Kit orders for production to meet the schedule.
•Replenish production line materials and issue material to production.
•Ensure a process exists to track materials issued to production and apply them to the correct order for cost accuracy.
•Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
•Help manage and balance inventory control within the department.
•Support improvements such as new warehouse storage techniques.
•Work closely with Sales + Production/Service teams by providing parts information (pricing, availability, lead times).
•Help ensure parts are ordered/received on time to support scheduling and delivery requirements.
•Maintain the warehouse in a clean, organized, and orderly condition.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
Education / Experience
•High school diploma or GED required
•1–3 months related experience/training preferred, OR equivalent combination of education/experience
Skills Required
Language/Communication:
•Can read and understand instructions, memos, and basic documentation
•Can write simple correspondence and routine reports
•Able to communicate effectively one-on-one and in small groups (customers/clients/employees)
•Able to interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Math Skills:
•Comfortable with basic math (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
•Can work with decimals/fractions, ratios/percentages
•Able to calculate discounts/interest/commissions and basic measurements
Reasoning/Problem Solving:
•Able to follow written/oral instructions and solve practical problems
•Can handle multiple variables in standard warehouse situations
•Able to interpret instructions in writing, diagrams, or schedules
Licenses / Other Requirements
•Valid Driver's License
•Clean driving record
•Forklift certification preferred
Physical / Work Environment
•Must be able to perform warehouse duties; lifting 40+ lbs may be required
•Works in a warehouse/production support environment (reasonable accommodations may apply)
