Barrington James is hiring: AD Contract Management in Boston

I'm working with a well known Pharmaceutical company to bring on a AD, Contract Management to their growing team.

The team works heavily on contract management and drafting, using both existing templates and building new contracts from scratch, particularly to support new product launches. Ideal candidates will have fundamental contract knowledge across PBMs, health plans, commercial payers, and private payers, with strong experience from the pharma, biotech, or pharmacy side. Natalie is willing to teach deeper specifics as long as candidates have the right foundation. The role is highly cross-functional, requiring strong collaboration, communication, and strategic thinking.

The work is heavily focused on payer contracting and strategy, including:

• Drafting and managing contracts using both existing templates and net-new agreements
• Supporting new product launches and acquisitions
• Working across the U.S. Market Access landscape, including health plans, PBMs (and PBM-GPOs), hospital GPOs, IDNs, and commercial/private payers
• Translating pricing strategy into actionable contracting approaches, including traditional and innovative models
• Ensuring contract data integration and documentation to support internal reporting and SOX compliance
