Cloud Cybersecurity Manager

A mission‑focused technology organization supporting federal programs is seeking a hands‑on Cloud Cybersecurity Manager to lead security operations in a highly secure government cloud environment. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for cybersecurity strategy, compliance, and risk management across enterprise cloud systems supporting critical national missions.

Base Pay Range

$160,000.00/yr – $180,000.00/yr

Requirements to Apply

• Active Top Secret security clearance
• Must reside in the DMV Area
• Ability to support onsite work as required, flexible hybrid approach

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the lead authority for cloud cybersecurity compliance and risk management
• Ensure continuous compliance with DoD and federal security mandates
• Lead NIST RMF implementation and ongoing ATO sustainment
• Oversee vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response
• Maintain secure cloud operations supporting multiple DoD impact levels (IL2, IL4, IL5)
• Manage and mentor a cybersecurity team of professionals
• Partner with technical and mission stakeholders in an Agile environment

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years leading large‑scale cybersecurity programs in cloud environments (AWS GovCloud)
• Deep experience with NIST RMF, 800‑53, STIGs, SCAP, IAVAs, and FISMA
• Strong background in DoD defensive cyber operations
• Expertise securing government cloud platforms and implementing Zero Trust
• Experience leading large Agile teams and complex programs
• One or more relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, FITSP‑M, GIAC, or equivalent)
