South Mill Champs is hiring: SM Shipping Dock Lead in Cambridge

The Shipping Supervisor supervises employees of the Shipping dock

who process, package and position all products for distribution and

sales, while ensuring that the work is done in a safe and efficient

manner. This position coordinates the movement of product and

supplies from Packing to Cold Storage and Transportation operations.

• Qualifications and Education Req:
  -High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Desired)·
  -Post Graduate Degree is preferred
  - Must have a valid driver’s license.
  -Experience operating the Electric Jack, loading and unloading trucks for at least 6 months.
  
  
• Work Description:
  -Enforces company policies pertaining to Safety, Food Safety and GMP’s.
  -Maintains expected productivity and efficiency on the production floor.·
  Understands and executes Customer Specs. and packaging requirements.
  · Communicates professionally, verbally and in writing, with coworkers from various departments including Receiving, Packing, Cold Storage and Sales.
  · Manages conflicts with a professional and positive attitude. · Makes reasonable and effective decisions in a fast-paced work environment.
  · Monitors cooler organization, inventory, flow, and temperatures.
  · Reports issues, problems, unsafe conditions, equipment losses or failure and staff challenges to Manager and / or HR.
