About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the company's FP&A function, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. This role demands a hands-on leader with a deep background in operating finance, particularly within e-commerce or similar digital business models. The VP of FP&A will also be the financial owner of online demand and digital conversion economics, and will lead the preparation of financial materials for the Board and investors. A key aspect of the position is to continuously improve FP&A processes and tools to support the company's growth and operating leverage.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive FP&A leadership experience, with a strong preference for those who have operated in a PE-backed environment and have been involved in M&A activities. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in financial modeling, executive communication, and the ability to influence and drive a lean FP&A team. A BS/BA degree is required, with an MBA being preferred. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in an acquire-convert-retain business model and a background in partnering with technology and product teams on metrics such as website conversion and funnel, as well as ROI-based roadmap prioritization.
