Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a versatile Electronics Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-precision electronic instruments. This role bridges the gap between hardware and software, requiring expertise in designing circuits that read physical data (Force, Temp, Distance) and drive complex motion systems (Servos, Motors). Location: West Berlin, NJ Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire with Benefits Key Responsibilities: Circuit & System Design: Design analog and digital circuits to interface with measurement devices such as Load Cells, LVDTs, Encoders, and Thermocouples. Embedded Development: Program microcontrollers (Assembly, C, C++) and configure digital devices (FPGAs, PLDs) using tools like Quartus II. Motion Control: Develop systems to drive AC/DC motors, servos, and solenoids. Communication Protocols: Implement and debug I2C, SPI, Serial, USB, and Ethernet interactions between hardware and software. Testing & Compliance: Design test apparatus, analyze data with Data Acquisition software, and ensure instruments meet UL, IEEE, or ISA safety standards. Lifecycle Support: Support manufacturing, troubleshoot product malfunctions, and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) via Enterprise Software. Qualifications & Mandatory Skills: The following experience and competencies are mandatory for this technical role: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field. 3+ years in Electronics System Design & Development. 3+ years in PCB Design (Digital & Analog). 2+ years in Digital Control Systems. Embedded Programming (C, C++, or Assembly). Experience with Altera/Intel PLD/FPGA (Quartus II). Highly Desired (Pluses): Familiarity with ARM processors (STM32) or RabbitCore. Experience with Gerber file editing and AutoDesk Fusion 365. Knowledge of safety submission processes (UL, IEEE).
