About the Role
The Company is seeking a Campus Dean for its BSN Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the nursing program, including site supervision, development, planning, coordination, organization, implementation, and evaluation of all program activities. This role involves overseeing the program budget, faculty and staff, clinical site liaison, curriculum development, and ensuring program compliance with regulatory standards. The Campus Dean will also serve as a student advocate, maintain program policies and procedures, and prepare all necessary documentation for state and board requirements. Additionally, the role includes fostering educational partnerships, participating in faculty recruitment and orientation, and actively engaging in community relationships to market the program.
Applicants for the Campus Dean position must have a completed MSN and DNP, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role managing a BSN nursing program. A current RN license is a plus, with a requirement to obtain one in the state of the campus. The ideal candidate will have a master's or higher degree from an accredited institution, with coursework in nursing, education, or administration, and at least 2 years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, as is a commitment to diversity and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people and institutions. The role also requires experience in supervision, planning, and budget management, as well as a demonstrated ability to build consensus and ensure the quality of instruction.
