Enlightened is hiring: Lead Data Warehouse Developer in Washington DC

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid - Onsite & Remote) Contract Duration: 5 years (engagements may extend up to 3 additional years) Start Date: April 28, 2026 Clearance: Background Investigation Required Client: New York State Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. citizen or have an active Green Card. Position Overview: We are seeking highly skilled IT consultants to support the New York State Office of the State Comptroller's Data Analytics Initiative and FirstNY Data Warehouse Reporting and Analytics System. These roles will play a key part in enhancing statewide transparency, supporting fraud/waste/abuse detection, improving audit and performance analysis, and modernizing data-driven systems. Consultants will work within OSC's Chief Information Officer Division, supporting both current and future data analytics and warehousing needs. Multiple roles will be staffed throughout the contract period. Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues involving databases, applications, networking, and servers
• Model data structures for reporting and analytics
• Tune SQL queries to improve performance
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
• Optimize and support enterprise data warehouse systems
• Develop SQL and PL/SQL-based solutions for Oracle environments

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years resolving complex technical problems across server, application, and database layers
• 3+ years in data modeling for reporting and analytics
• 5+ years SQL performance tuning
• 3+ years leading technical teams on complex analytics or warehouse projects
• 3+ years guiding performance tuning of enterprise data warehouse systems
• 5+ years Oracle SQL & PL/SQL development
• Must be available to start April 28, 2026
