Reporting to the Sr. Director Strategy and Market Development this role is part of the Single-Use Technologies Division. What will you do? The Bioproduction Data Analyst role will deliver critical insights to inform the strategy and economic quantification of business value propositions. The data analyst will work in close collaboration with product management, marketing, R&D, Biological Collaboration Center and commercial teams to develop hypothesis, refine scope and implement analysis.
- Using analytics and insights, continuously develop and refine modeling programs to assess economic impact of value propositions
- Aid product development and process development with well informed decisions via process simulation and economic analysis
- Deliver insight which will save time and resources during the exploration and development of new products intended for the external market
- Work independently, and in coordination with functional teams to drive analysis and synthesize insights for executive review
- Create data visualization tools help to identify conclusions and clearly share those analyses as presentations, reports or communications with customers.
- 2-5 years of experience as a market, strategy, or economic analyst in life sciences industry required
- Bachelors degree required, and Masters degree preferred.
- Experience in or a good understanding of bioprocessing upstream and downstream processes preferred
- Strong experience using data, qualitative and quantitative inputs to refine business strategies
- Innovative problem solver who is creative, curious, and continuously looking at opportunities for improvement
- Ability to function in a complex, matrix business environment is crucial
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation experience to large and diverse audiences
- Proficient in Excel (advanced user), Power BI, (BioSolve experience preferred)
