- Act as a strategic consultant, using your analytical prowess to answer critical business questions and guide decision-making for stakeholders, including VPs and executives.
- Design and build compelling visualizations, dashboards, and reports that distill complex quantitative analyses into clear, actionable insights for audiences at every level.
- Dive deep into data exploration, leveraging cutting-edge analytical techniques-from statistical inference to machine learning and LLMs-to uncover hidden patterns and opportunities.
- Champion data integrity by owning the validation, cleanup, and governance of core datasets in our Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring accuracy and reliability across the organization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand reporting requirements, define key metrics, and deliver analytical solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business units.
- Partner closely with the Senior Manager of Data & Technology to align analytics strategy with the broader business framework-translating business objectives into data models, dashboards, and reporting systems that drive measurable impact.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a business intelligence or analytics-focused role, with a strong ability to answer unstructured business questions.
- At least 2 years of SQL experience, coupled with a strong understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehouse architecture.
- Proven experience with a modern data visualization tool such as Looker, Tableau, or QuickSight to build impactful reports and dashboards.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the talent to simplify complex data into clear, actionable insights and concise recommendations.
- A forward-thinking approach to analytics, including experience integrating AI tools into daily workflows or building AI agents to automate data insights.
- Experience building complex data models for financial metrics (e.g., ARR, GAAP accounting, revenue retention) is a significant asset.
- A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies on the job to stay at the forefront of the analytics field.

- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk.
LOCATION/SCHEDULE
- Work hours are generally 9:00 am- 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Hybrid schedule.
- Must have ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Primary office is in Chicago, may need to travel to other Chicago Stars locations in the Chicagoland area, if needed.
