Noblis is seeking a Data Analyst to work in dynamic mission-oriented environment within Bethesda, Maryland. A successful data analyst candidate will be responsible for designing and developing comprehensive methods and processes to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured data from diverse sources, including big data environments. This role combines traditional data analysis with advanced analytics capabilities to drive organizational decision-making and business performance. Data Architecture & Processing: • Design and develop methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured data from diverse sources including "big data" sources. • Develop and use advanced software programs, algorithms, querying and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate datasets. • Manage all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions. • Design, develop, and modify data infrastructure to support analytical requirements. Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning: • Apply disciplines such as Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Predictive modeling, Statistical Analysis and Hypothesis testing. • Conduct both quantitative and qualitative analysis to ensure accurate forecasting and classification. • Create and optimize automated processes for data analysis and model deployment. Work with cross-discipline teams to ensure connectivity between various databases and systems. • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data visualization requirements and business needs. • Support strategic decision-making through detailed analysis and recommendations. Develop information tools, algorithms, dashboards, and queries to monitor and improve business performance. • Create clear and compelling data visualizations to communicate complex findings. • Maintain awareness of emerging analytics and big-data technologies. • Develop standards of operation for handling and archiving data. • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with organizational standards. A Bachelors of Science degree and 5+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience • S. citizen and have an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI and CI Polygraph. • Proficiency in software programs, algorithms, and querying languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R). • Experience with Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Predictive modeling. • Strong foundation in Statistical Analysis and Hypothesis testing. • Knowledge of big data technologies and platforms. • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.). • Ability to transform raw data into strategic business intelligence. Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.
