ICONMA is hiring: Senior Data Analyst - SQL in McLean

Our Client, a Real Estate and Financial Services company, is looking for a Senior Data Analyst for their McLean, VA location. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies between applications and systems on the current CDW platform. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements for Finance and Accounting systems. • Create detailed mapping documents that outline data flows, transformations, and system interactions. • Develop and validate complex SQL queries to support data analysis and migration efforts. • Assist in mapping source to target tables/columns (Nexus to Finance apps) and define derivation logic as part of the modernization process. • Ensure comprehensive documentation and traceability of all data lineage and mapping activities. At least 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data warehousing, or related fields. • Practical experience or familiarity with tools such as DataStage, Informatica, SAS, and Python. • Expertise in complex SQL for data analysis, validation, and script development. • Strong ability to understanding of enterprise-scale systems and data environments and, create data mapping documents. • Must have experience analyzing Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and ETL code, SQL quires, understanding of Unix. Project details • Modernization project • Move source systems from the blue field to the brown field • Source Snowflake and target AWS S3 & flat files • ETL, SQL, Unix, and development experience preferred.
