Intuit's Legal, Compliance & Policy Organization (LCPO) is seeking a Compliance Assurance Staff Data Analyst. This role is a key enabler for the Compliance Assurance team's next phase of growth, focusing on leveraging AI, advanced analytics, and automation to redefine how we measure, monitor, and scale compliance assurance testing. You will be a builder, a problem-solver, and a thought leader, dedicated to translating complex data into insights and actionable high-impact outcomes that meet our obligations to our customers, partners and regulators.
This role is a hybrid role - with 3 days a week in office expectations.
You will lead the Compliance Assurance team into a new era of data-driven scalability by focusing on automation, AI integration, and measurable outcomes.
Define and Drive the Data Strategy:
• Develop a scalable and efficient data-driven strategy and roadmap to scale Compliance Assurance Testing priorities across our platforms, products, and enterprise programs with measurable outcomes.
• Proactively guide stakeholder questioning and business optimization efforts by providing data insights, trends, root causes and actionable conclusions, not just data outputs.
• Identify and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to rigorously measure the effectiveness of the Compliance Assurance program and remediation efforts.
Lead AI and Automation Initiatives:
• Design and implement automation solutions and explore new methodologies to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the Compliance Assurance team.
• Drive the integration of analytics and machine learning models into core assurance and testing approaches to accelerate testing outcomes, enhance risk detection, root cause analysis, impact analysis, and mitigation strategies.
• Automate management reporting by developing robust, scalable visualizations and executive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into compliance health and performance.
Act as a thought leader and mentor, guiding teammates and stakeholders on how best to harness available data and new AI technologies to meet critical business goals.
• Document and share key learnings and data products across the organization to establish best practices and elevate collective data literacy.
We're looking for a proactive, collaborative, and strategic thinker who enjoys solving complex challenges and defining new organizational visions through AI, automation and data.
7+ years of progressive experience in analytics, data science, or a related field. Experience working in or supporting compliance, internal audit, or product/risk teams is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics. A Graduate degree in a related field and experience in the FinTech, Banking, or Technology industry is preferred.
Expert proficiency in data manipulation and statistical analysis using SQL, Python, R, and advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense). Experience with machine learning libraries and Databricks for big data environments (e.g., Proactively resolve data quality and validation issues from identification to final resolution.
A proactive builder who seeks to understand customer (internal stakeholder) pain points and defines the vision before executing solutions.
• Demonstrates strategic thinking and the courage to take smart risks, balancing short-term execution with long-term strategic implications.
Excellent data storytelling skills to simplify complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives that influence executive decisions and drive cross-functional consensus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage and balance multiple priorities, including existing projects and strategic initiatives concurrently while operating with velocity and accountability to drive growth.
