About the Position LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Macon, Georgia, 31217!Locums Medical Oncologist in Georgia - Atlanta MetroOutpatient-only Oncology assignment near Macon and Hawkinsville with light call and flexible block options.HighlightsApril through October; 2 weeks/month minimum1 weekend of light call/month (mostly phone-based)Part-time, full-time, or consistent blocks welcomeTravel, lodging, and rental car includedPractice Setting3 days/week in Macon, 2 days/week in HawkinsvilleOutpatient-only; no BMT, acute leukemia, or inpatient dutiesSupport staff onsite; Epic EMRCredentialing at 3 systems (Northside, Atrium, Piedmont)ScheduleMonday-Friday, 8a-5p20-25 patients/day (no procedures)Credentialing: 90 days (IMLC accepted)Cases and ProceduresGeneral Medical Oncology onlyNo hematology, no proceduresInpatient consults handled by othersRequirementsBoard Certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology/OncologyActive Georgia license or IMLC LOQDEA requiredTravel AccommodationsFlight, lodging, rental car, and mileage includedSpring and summer blocks are still open; reach out to secure your preferred dates.
