JOB SUMMARY The Clinical Therapist – Adult Mental Health is a Master’s level professional responsible for providing onsite and offsite direct care services to adult clients, including community support, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management. The therapist supports individuals who are integrated within the recovery community and are not enrolled in ACT, CST, or CSR programming. JOB DUTIES Provide 30 hours of direct, billable patient contact weekly. Complete IM+CANS assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans. Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions. Deliver stabilization, assessment, and crisis intervention services. Maintain compliance with DMH, Rule 132/140, and other regulatory bodies. Support clients through case management, resource referrals, and housing assistance. Conduct regular documentation and maintain accurate client records. Participate in ongoing professional development and training. QUALIFICATIONS Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related human service field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the human service field. Knowledge of Rule 132, the Department of Mental Health, and community mental health systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant clinical software. Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. SMART GOALS Manage caseload with timely documentation, clinical assessments, and therapy appointments. Attend trainings focused on evidence-based techniques for client outcomes. Participate in quarterly team outings to enhance morale and team bonding. WORKING & PHYSICAL CONDITIONS Standard office environment: some offsite work required. Moderate physical activity with occasional lifting of 15–25 pounds. Minimal exposure to physical risk. Employees in this role are required to comply with annual TB testing as part of workplace health and safety protocols.
