About the Role

The Company is in search of a visionary Vice President of Strategic Pricing to spearhead the evolution of pricing strategy and operations for one of its largest business units. This role is pivotal in aligning pricing practices with growth objectives, enhancing collaboration with sales, and reimagining pricing to deliver greater commercial impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership in developing and executing a comprehensive pricing strategy that supports revenue growth, margin expansion, and competitive differentiation. They will also lead a team of pricing professionals, foster a culture of development and innovation, and build strong partnerships with sales leadership to ensure pricing strategies are in line with go-to-market plans and client needs.

Applicants for the Vice President of Strategic Pricing role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' proven leadership experience in pricing, ideally within a high-growth tech, SaaS, or data platform company. A deep understanding of pricing methodologies, value-based pricing, and commercial strategy is essential, as is a track record of building and leading pricing teams that drive measurable business outcomes. The role requires strong analytical and financial acumen, exceptional communication, stakeholder management skills, and commercial negotiation experience. The candidate should be adept at working cross-functionally with sales, finance, product, and marketing, and a Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an MBA or relevant master's degree.
