Senior Smith Gardner, Inc. (S+G), an employee-owned firm, specializing in engineering and environmental consulting for the solid waste industry, is seeking a *Senior Licensed Environmental Engineer or Geologist to join our Raleigh, NC office*. This position will play a key role in supporting our environmental services group by leading, managing, and delivering projects throughout the Southeast.

*About this Role:*
As a Senior Licensed Environmental Engineer or Geologist, you will be responsible for planning, developing, managing and coordinating geological investigations for our solid waste clients. Qualified individuals will possess extensive experience in project management, geological assessment, water quality evaluation, and remedial strategies. Strong client management and communication skills along with the ability to prepare proposals, plan and manage field operations and prepare comprehensive environmental reports for submittal to various regulatory agencies are essential.
*Responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:*
* Performing environmental investigation and data collection to support our solid waste services. * Field tasks include field reconnaissance, client meetings, and oversight of drilling and well installation. * Office tasks include project planning, preparation of work plans, data evaluation, data summarization, potentiometric surface and hydrogeologic cross-section evaluation, report preparation oversight and review. Additional tasks include proposal preparation, budget management, monthly invoicing, personnel scheduling and management, client management and regulatory liaison. * Overnight travel across the region will be required.
*Minimum Requirements*
* BS or MS in Environmental Engineering or Geology required for full time position. * Minimum10+ years of relevant experience * Licensed as a Professional Environmental Engineer or Geologist * Experience with project management including managing tasks, people, budgets and schedules * Must be highly motivated and have strong organizational and time management skills * Attention to Detail is a must * Excellent written and verbal skills
