Process Engineering Director (Graphene Interconnects)
Destination 2D is on a mission to bring intercalated‑graphene interconnects to mainstream CMOS technology. We’re seeking a Process Engineering Director with deep experience in CMOS BEOL technologies to lead our process and characterization teams. The ideal candidate will translate cutting‑edge R&D into foundry‑ready solutions for next‑generation interconnects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of process and characterization engineers to execute wafer‑scale graphene integration and testing.
Oversee process development across material synthesis, patterning, intercalation doping, metallization, and reliability testing.
Collaborate with foundry partners to ensure process compatibility and manufacturability.
Translate R&D innovations into robust, production‑ready BEOL process flows.
Qualifications:
M.S. or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Deep understanding of BEOL process integration, metallization (Cu, Ru, etc.), and low‑k dielectric technologies.
Proven record of process execution and product delivery at industry scale in advanced semiconductor manufacturing or foundry environments.
Familiarity with graphene synthesis and characterization (Raman, AFM, XPS, XRD, SEM/TEM).
