Make a Difference in Patient Care We are seeking a compassionate and motivated

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

to join a

Urology specialty practice

in Palm Harbor, FL. CMAs in this role will be

cross-trained

and supported with on-the-job training to succeed in both clinical and administrative functions within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. This is a

direct-hire, full-time opportunity

and a consistent weekday schedule. Key Responsibilities

Greet and prepare patients for urology exams and procedures with professionalism and compassion

Collect and document vital signs, patient intake, and clinical information in

Epic EMR

Assist providers during urology exams, procedures, and treatments

Administer medications and injections as ordered (if certified)

Perform specimen collection and assist with in-office urology procedures

Perform EKGs, urinalysis, phlebotomy, and lab specimen handling as needed

Educate patients on aftercare instructions and provider recommendations

Cross-train in administrative functions and assist with patient scheduling, appointment coordination, and clinic workflow as needed

Maintain clean, safe, and organized exam rooms and equipment

Ensure compliance with

OSHA, AHMG, and clinical regulations

Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and care team members

Support the organization’s mission and commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate of a

CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant program

Current Medical Assistant certification ( AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA )

Current

CPR certification

1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred

Urology experience is a plus, but not required — training will be provided

Epic EMR experience preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced clinical environment

Bilingual Spanish preferred

Pay Details:

$16.00 to $25.00 per hour
