This role focuses on providing specialized respiratory therapy support within a Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU/PICU) setting. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills in neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, with a proven track record in airway and ventilator management. Location: Position is based in Denver, CO, within a well-equipped acute care environment featuring advanced respiratory therapy technology, including G5 ventilators, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30 devices. The unit operates using Meditech EMR systems and emphasizes high standards of patient care within a skilled clinical team. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Active Colorado Respiratory Therapist license Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NRP mandatory Proven Level III NICU experience required Pediatric background required; NICU/PICU specific experience preferred Critical care skills, particularly in airway and ventilator management Comfort supporting emergency department respiratory needs a plus Responsibilities: Manage respiratory care for critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients Operate and troubleshoot advanced ventilator systems such as G5, Servo, and Avea Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize respiratory therapies Provide emergency respiratory support as needed Maintain compliance with unit protocols and regulatory standards Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM shift Contract Details: This is a contract position offering the opportunity to work in a high-acuity pediatric respiratory therapy role.
