Facility: East Cooper Medical Center Location: Mount Pleasant, SC Department: ICU/PCU Position Type: PRN, Days Work Schedule: as needed 7a-7p Novant Health is seeking an EKG/Telemetry Tech to perform technical procedures and functions for electro diagnostics. Applies and discontinues telemetry services as instructed. Enters telemetry charges, edits, and other paperwork as applicable to the department. What We're Looking For: Education: High School Diploma or High School graduate or equivalent, required. Additional Skills Required: Medical terminology and CPR-basic. Ability to operate electronic and computer-based equipment. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age, principles of growth and development over the life span and to accommodate cultural diversity among the patients being served. Must be able to assess and interpret data about the patient’s status, to identify each patient’s population specific or behavioral needs and provide the care as needed. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
