Local Travel Patient Admitting Specialist - Near Palm Springs, CA 13-Week Contract | Up to $1,050/Week | Healthcare Registration Role

Local Travel Patient Admitting Specialist
for a partner healthcare facility located in
Palm Springs, California . This position plays a vital role in providing an exceptional first impression and seamless registration experience for patients and their families.
Job Description: Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout the registration process
Accurately register patients while verifying and updating all demographic and insurance information
Confirm eligibility and insurance benefits; process co-pays, deductibles, and estimate collections
Maintain compliance with Medicare and regulatory requirements, including proper documentation
Scan and upload all relevant identification and insurance documents into the system
Ensure registration accuracy rate of 97% or higher
Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure all patients are registered in a timely, professional manner
Answer incoming calls and route them appropriately
Maintain and balance daily cash receipts and provide accurate quotes to self-pay patients
Uphold department standards, dress code, safety policies, and professional boundaries Education Requirements:
Preferred: High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) Experience Requirements:
Preferred: Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service environment
Preferred: Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, and hospital regulations
