to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging childrens intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities Plan learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate Meeting the individual needs of the children Design a daily and weekly lesson plan using the Creative Curriculum system. Provide basic care and caregiving activities Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones Communicate with parents and update them on their childrens activities
Qualifications Previous experience as a teacher Strong understanding of child development, Head Start, Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold Patient, kind, and nurturing Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills AA degree or higher in Early Childhood with a Minimum 6 credit hours of college course work in Infant/Toddler Care PREFERRED or, Infant Toddler CDA or, Gateways Infant Toddler Credential 2 or higher Early Head Start experience REQUIRED
