CDL Delivery Driver Job at Edward's Stone in Roca

Edward's Stone is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Delivery Driver based out of our Lincoln, Nebraska location. This position is responsible for delivering natural stone products to job sites, distributors, and customers across multiple regions. The role includes out-of-town travel and overnight stays as part of regular delivery routes.
Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company CDL trucks to deliver stone products to job sites, yards, and customers.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials while ensuring product integrity.
• Complete local and long-distance deliveries, including overnight routes when required.
• Follow all DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate proactively with yard staff, sales teams, and customers regarding delivery schedules.
• Represent Edward's Stone professionally at all times on job sites and customer locations.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL (Class A or B, as applicable) with a clean driving record.
• Previous CDL driving and delivery experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel out of town and stay overnight as required.
• Ability to safely handle and move stone materials.
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and time management.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Comfortable working independently.
