JOB SUMMARY The Restaurant Cook oversees daily operations of the grill and food prep. Responsibilities include proper food handling, preparation, and storage, providing excellent customer service, and supporting franchise partner teamwork. RESPONSIBILITIES Report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform Greet customers warmly with a smile and verbal greeting Prepare food promptly upon receiving orders Complete shift checklists, stock, and prepare the unit for the next shift Report safety concerns or customer complaints immediately to management Know menu items and daily features; ensure correct cooking and presentation Follow Huddle House steps of service to maximize sales Adhere to safety, food handling, cash security, and restaurant policies Perform prepping and cleaning duties as assigned Control food costs through waste reduction and portion control QUALIFICATIONS Effective communication with restaurant staff Positive attitude and willingness to work during scheduled shifts OUR VALUES Commitment to Excellence Work Hard Teamwork Make a Difference Have Fun Compensation: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour This franchise is independently owned and operated.
