About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President & Deputy General Counsel to join its dynamic legal team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in overseeing the company's litigation and corporate legal functions, providing strategic legal counsel on a wide range of matters, and mentoring legal staff. The successful candidate will be a key partner to the executive team, particularly in managing legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions, and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, cost-effective legal representation. The role requires a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, a minimum of 10 years of legal experience, and a strong background in litigation, corporate governance, transactions, and legal team leadership. Prior experience in the energy sector and law firm experience are strongly preferred.
