A K-12 educational institution in Weslaco, TX is seeking a part-time School Psychologist for a temporary contract position during the current school year. This role supports students' social-emotional and academic development through specialized psychological services. Responsibilities include: Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans Providing counseling and support to address behavioral and emotional challenges Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as necessary Preferred qualifications and experience: Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with K-12 students in school settings Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families Location: Weslaco, TX This temporary position offers an opportunity to apply your psychological expertise in an educational environment that supports student well-being and success.
