Description Mental Health Professional for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Unit at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR. Per Diem 0.01 FTE, day shift This is a combined posting for a Social Worker MSW, and a Professional Counselor Associate. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. The Social Worker MSW or Professional Counseling Associate practices within an inpatient psychiatry unit dedicated to serving youth ages 5-17. The position will collaborate with other disciplines in the formation of treatment plans and patient assessments while supporting the unity in providing evidence-based and trauma informed care in small groups and individually. Under supervision, this position will utilize established approaches and standards; The position requires experience with acute mental healthcare and experience in providing psychoeducational & skills-based groups. SOCIAL WORKER MSW Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work 2 years Clinical work experience within healthcare, hospice and/or bereavement. Oregon Professional Counselor Associate License upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year - Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting in an accredited college or university internship.
