About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate General Counsel with a strong background in healthcare law to join their team. The successful candidate will be a strategic legal partner to executive leadership, providing guidance on a wide range of legal matters, including clinical operations, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, employment issues, contracts, and risk management. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company operates within the legal and regulatory frameworks of the healthcare industry, and the ideal candidate will be business-minded, practical, and adept at handling the challenges of a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.
Key responsibilities for the Associate General Counsel include contract review and negotiation, staying abreast of healthcare laws and regulations, managing litigation matters, and providing general legal support to internal stakeholders. The role requires a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, an active license to practice law, and a minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a significant focus on healthcare law. The candidate should have a proven track record in contract management, a strong understanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks, and the ability to work independently. Preferred qualifications include experience in multi-state healthcare operations and prior in-house counsel experience.
