[solidcore] is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented junior attorney to join our dynamic legal team with a focus on real estate matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney to develop their real estate practice while supporting our retail estate portfolio and contributing to the company's expansion.
Located in vibrant Arlington, Virginia, and reporting to [solidcore]’s Associate General Counsel of Real Estate, this position offers immediate hands‑on experience that contributes to the growth of a rapidly expanding, investor‑backed organization.
Responsibilities
Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating retail lease agreements, lease amendments, and related documents (including subordination & non‑disturbance agreements, estoppel certificates, and commencement date agreements) under supervision of senior legal team members.
Support lease management activities including responding to landlord requests, analyzing lease notices, and researching lease enforcement issues.
Conduct due diligence reviews of lease documents and real‑estate agreements for new and existing studio locations.
Collaborate with real estate, construction, facilities management, and operations teams to address day‑to‑day lease administration matters.
Help develop and refine lease templates and standard contract provisions to improve efficiency.
Support cross‑functional projects and initiatives across the legal department as needed.
Qualifications
2‑3 years of commercial real‑estate experience from a law firm and/or in‑house legal department.
Strong interest in commercial leasing and retail real estate.
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines with appropriate supervision.
Eagerness to learn and develop business acumen while working with cross‑functional teams.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to non‑legal business partners.
J.D. degree and member in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar.
