Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of eCommerce and advertising, offering a rich array of digital display advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy. As a Principal Product Manager – Tech, you will define and execute all aspects of product development and go‑to‑market strategies for our AI‑powered creative optimization product. You will work with a team of product managers, scientists, UX designers, and software engineers to build, test, launch, measure, and iterate on features that optimize the creative experience of display ads. You can excel when faced with ambiguity, have high judgement, and are able to balance technical limitations and customer experience to drive strategic value for the business. Successful candidates will enjoy working in a collaborative, analytical, and fast‑paced environment and are comfortable interacting with highly technical cross‑functional teams. Candidates will have experience with personalization and a track record of developing AI‑driven products.

Key Job Responsibilities

Drive the vision, roadmap, and external positioning for creative personalization.

Lead cross‑functional tech teams to execute on product plans and deliver results.

Drive executive reviews and alignment for your plans.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout Amazon to obtain buy‑in for product initiatives.

Partner with engineering to take features from conception to launch.

Analyze and act on business metrics and data to grow the business.

Leverage consumer insights, advertiser feedback, and competitive intelligence reports to inform product decisions.

About the Team Our team, CreativeX Optimization, empowers advertisers to personalize the visual experience of their ads in real time. We apply advanced machine learning and generative AI to help advertisers build, identify, and understand what ad creatives work with their audiences. We develop customized CTR and CVR prediction models to help advertisers efficiently connect with shoppers across the web. We utilize generative models to understand shopper preferences across text, images, and videos. We have a broad mandate to experiment and innovate, as we seek to leapfrog the competition and impact billions of impressions daily.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Location and Salary USA, NY, New York - 197,900.00 - 267,800.00 USD annually USA, WA, Seattle - 179,900.00 - 243,400.00 USD annually

The base salary range for this position is listed above; your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
