Main Duties of the Job

Providing telephone and online video assessments for patients requiring enhanced clinical triage. Monitoring and managing clinical hub triage queues. Assessing a wide range of cases, including: Children under 5 without a clear Pathways disposition Adults over 75 without a clear Pathways disposition Emergency contraception queries Medication questions and prescription requests

Supporting Clinical Advisors in validating Emergency Department and Green Ambulance dispositions. Navigating appropriate cases for home visiting or district nursing services. Managing prescription requests alongside pharmacists and administrative teams. Offering clinical advice to Mental Health Nurses, ANPs, dental nurses, pharmacists and NHS 111 Clinical Advisors. Providing realtime support to Service Advisors and Supervisors through floor walking. Ensuring accurate documentation of all contacts in clinical systems. Working within protocols, policies and prescribing formularies. Participating in clinical governance, supervision, training and performance review. Maintaining up‑to‑date mandatory training and clinical competencies. About Us

Current GMC registration and inclusion on the Medical Performers List. Strong experience in telephone or remote clinical assessment. Ability to work autonomously within your professional scope. Excellent communication skills and confidence supporting multidisciplinary colleagues. Understanding of the legal and clinical responsibilities of GP triage. Commitment to evidence‑based practice and ongoing professional development. Ability to remain calm, efficient and clinically focused under pressure. Strong IT skills and confidence using clinical systems. Professionalism, integrity and a patient‑centred approach. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
