Responsibilities
Coordinate all departments and ensure everyone works toward the same goal, providing excellent service and value to customers.
Oversee overall operation of a store, including establishing and maintaining customer service standards.
Handle hiring, training and development of store personnel.
Manage all aspects of merchandising, inventory control, and product presentation.
Control store funds, control expenses, and manage shrink control.
Develop store personnel in all aspects of the business and build confidence and teamwork.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of big-box retail management experience working with soft lines.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask, evaluate and react to performance issues.
Soft lines merchandising expertise and compliance with policies and procedures.
Transportation required; willing to work evenings, weekends, and varied hours.
Physical ability to walk and stand continuously, lift up to 60 lbs., bend, stoop, and climb a ladder occasionally.
