Blue Earth Diagnostics is a subsidiary of Bracco Imaging S.p.A., a global leader in diagnostic imaging.-**Job Purpose**Reporting to the VP Innovation and Strategy, the Medical Director, Innovation and Strategy – Molecular Imaging will be the global medical lead for new asset evaluations for molecular imaging product pipeline expansion. They will play a key role in the technical and commercial assessment of novel radiopharmaceutical product opportunities, both in oncology and other disease areas (such as cardiology and neurology). This Medical Director, Innovation and Strategy – Molecular Imaging will provide a global perspective of unmet medical needs and critically review potential new assets from a medical perspective, including delivering on advisory boards and market research activities, and undertaking due diligence activities such as product development program design and validation of the regulatory strategy. The role will require cross-functional collaboration with BED and other Bracco MI colleagues, as well as across Bracco functions, such as Global R&D and Global Medical and Regulatory Affairs.This position will operate on a hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working onsite 3 days a week in our office located at 197 First Avenue, Needham, MA.**Main Responsibilities, Activities, Duties and Tasks*** Serve as the Medical Lead within the Blue Earth Diagnostics Innovation and Strategy team:

+ Work closely with the VP Innovation and Strategy and New Assets Evaluation Team to develop and maintain a clear view of emerging global trends in the molecular imaging radiopharmaceutical landscape, to define promising areas of clinical unmet need for future investment focus

+ Develop and maintain a good understanding of current business product portfolio within the broader context of the molecular imaging landscape

+ Leverage both internal and external resources to provide a critical medical review during the evaluation of potential new assets for the Blue Earth Diagnostics product pipeline. This includes delivering on advisory boards and supporting on market research activities.

+ Work within the New Assets Evaluation team and with cross-functional team members, to successfully execute due diligence activities on specific new asset opportunities, such as validation of the existing global regulatory strategy, risk assessment and potential mitigation approaches relating to the medical aspects, product development program design with cost estimates and business case validation.

+ Communicate new asset opportunity evaluation considerations and recommendations, particularly relating to global clinical unmet needs and clinical development plans, accurately and clearly to a wider variety of stakeholders (including within the Bracco organization and with external parties) to enable high quality and timely decisions on portfolio growth* Participate in Conferences to support the Innovation and Strategy Team’s activities.* Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KoLs) to support Innovation and Strategy team goals* Responsible for clear and confident communication with external parties and effective internal and external stakeholder management* Ensure compliance with relevant organizational Standard Operating Procedures* Travel will be required, estimated at approx. 10%. Travel will include national conferences, advisory boards, and occasional interaction with scientific leaders and organizations.* Perform other duties and activities as assigned, in accordance with the needs of the business.**Education/Qualifications*** Medical Degree required**Professional Experience, Knowledge, & Technical Skills*** Post-MD experience of at least two different phases of product lifecycle within the Pharmaceutical or Biotech Industry, working in Medical Affairs and/or Clinical Development, is required, Industry experience within nuclear radiology, nuclear medicine, or radiology is a plus.* Clinical care and/or research experience in the therapeutic areas in which Blue Earth Diagnostics and Bracco have molecular imaging products/developmental assets, preferred.* A good understanding of the desired acceptance and exclusion criteria for a promising molecularly targeted diagnostic imaging (and therapeutic) agent is required* Understanding of the clinical trials and FDA approval processes and overall appreciation of the compliance landscape.* Demonstrable experience of delivering on assessments of global clinical unmet needs and ability to define clinical development plans.* Ability to interpret and analyze complex sets of clinical data, spanning multiple products/agents.* Ability to work within an approved budget; offering suggestions on how to accomplish individual and business goals more efficiently and effectively.* Able to proactively identify, describe and assess risk and chances of product development success, and offer solutions and recommendations on mitigation strategies.* Able to develop and implement complex influencing and negotiating strategies which demonstrate political awareness* Strong business acumen, vision and perspective.**Salary range:** $2500,000.00 to $300,000.00We are seeking motivated individuals with drive and determination to succeed in an innovative and respectful team environment.
