VP of Clinical Operations (Project Management)
The Vice President of Clinical Operations is responsible and accountable for executive leadership and operational direction of the assigned business unit. He/she will provide leadership oversight to the Practice Administrators of the current practice offices and will lead the affiliations integration. In collaboration with the COO & Senior Leadership team, VP of Clinical Operations will focus on year over year growth, continuous process improvement and new affiliate implementation to ensure quality patient care and high level of support to the doctors.
This role is critical to SENTA Partners overall success in achieving its vision of becoming the industry leading organization for ENT & Allergy physicians.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Operational Leadership
Assures that a high quality of service is provided to all patients at all times, and that all activities are in accordance with the mission, vision, values and objectives of SENTA Partners and affiliated practices.
Responsible for the financial performance and operations of the assigned practices, which includes both budgeting and P&L management.
Develops & monitors KPIs and supports field teams and leaders in developing and implementing the best practices that demonstrate impact and effectiveness.
Communicates routinely with the COO and Senior Leadership team concerning policy recommendations and suggested courses of action pertinent to the efficient operation of the assigned offices.
Meets with the Physician leadership on a regular basis to provide recommendations, reporting and insights.
Leads the team of Practice Administrators, actively listens and seeks ideas and input from others, and encourages open, timely and transparent two‑way communication and exchange of ideas.
Executive Leadership
Builds relationships with the affiliation doctors and practice leadership.
Leads integration activities to ensure the affiliation is supported and maintains the pre‑affiliation level of performance post‑close.
Partners closely with other members of the Senior Leadership team to drive cross‑functional alignment and synergies between business units.
Develops and delivers effective change management tactics to gain maximum benefit of process changes and initiatives.
Develops and/or recommends solutions for areas of high business impact.
Participates in the Board Meetings and updates the Board on the state of the operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, healthcare or a related field.
Master’s degree a plus.
7–10 years progressive executive healthcare management experience.
Demonstrated history of generating greater than market average year over year growth in healthcare.
Experience in driving and working in high growth environments.
Multi‑site and multi‑state experience.
Experience working within Private Equity environment.
PMP and/or Lean | Six Sigma certification a plus.
Experience working in a surgical private practice setting a plus.
Executive level communication and collaboration required.
Working Environment Medical office environment.
Travel up to 50%.
