Position Overview Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is seeking a talented and experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team of engineers delivering cutting‑edge solutions. You will be performing hardware and software integration, cybersecurity and systems engineering aub in unclassified spaces in support of our warfighters.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform and lead advanced cybersecurity related engineering tasks, including hands‑on system and software development.
Assist with uta planning and allocation of resources, estimating work and staffing needs, coordinating activities, and engaging with key stakeholders to ensure project success.
Conduct research and perform technical analyses with emphasis on network and cyber operations Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), focusing on threats to networked space, cyberspace platforms, and U.S. DoD information networks.

Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to ensure technology standards, security controls, and engineering practices are well understood and consistently applied.
Provide support and technical guidance to staff across multiple locations, with primary presence in Columbia, MD.
Partner with internal teams to deliver technical demonstrations and showcase SealingTech capabilities to customers.
Identify and define high-level functional and technical requirements by working with the user community and leveraging knowledge of existing DoD enterprise architectures.
Minimum Qualifications
8 years of experience in systems engineering (server hardware), systems architecture (Windows, Linux, ESXi), network security architecture, software development, and virtualization
5+ years of experience with testing DCO related products such as TAPS, Servers, Firewalls
5+ years of experience building test plans, executing test plans, and recording metrics in support of DCO kits
5+ years of experience with current defensive cyberspace TTPs
Strong proficiency in core cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and methodologies and understanding of infrastructure security, hardening processes, techniques, and industry best practices
Experience with network protocols, architecture design, and defense‑in‑depth practices
Hands‑on experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python, scripting)
Proficient in virtualization technologies and management platforms (e.g., vCenter, Kubernetes), including deployment and configuration of VMs and containers
Working knowledge of defensive cyber tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Zeek, Palo Alto, RedSeal, and related platforms
Understanding of best practices for security patching, authentication, and log retention
Experience operating within security frameworks to support compliance and auditing requirements
Experience with Agile project management using tools such as Jira
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and maintain engineering processes and procedures
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Must have an active driver’s license and clean driving record
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to travel within the United States Preferred Qualifications
